Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Abhik Mahakul ("I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the MapDex mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy

1. Information I Collect

1.1  Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you register;
• Profile information: profile photo and display name;
• User-generated content: location pins, rankings, reviews, and any other content you create or share in the App;
• Communications: any messages or information you send to me.

1.2  Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: how you interact with the App, features used, content viewed, and time spent;
• Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information;
• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits, and error logs;
• Analytics data: aggregated, de-identified behavioral data used to improve the App.

1.3  Location Information

I may collect general location information (such as city or region) derived from your IP address. If you grant permission, future versions of the App may collect more precise location data to power location-based features. I will always request your explicit permission before accessing precise location data and you may revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
